As an established designer Glyn Peter Machin is committed to redefining luxury whilst at the same time pushing boundaries and challenging the standards to create special products. Creating Icons that are simply beautiful is a daily passion.
We present our creativity through our signature heading of design between and beyond walls and spaces on water. BETWEEN walls represents interiors, BEYOND walls means exteriors and SPACES ON WATER is all about floating vessels.
Drawing inspiration from all corners of the globe, diverse cultures and inquisitive travel encourages ones subconscious to immerse itself with incredibly vibrant colours, organic shapes and rich textures from nature, landscapes, architecture, museums, fashion, cars and all kinds of objects …the list is endless.
To constantly achieve the esteemed high standards Glyn Peter Machin’s designs are renowned for and maintain a passion for beautiful products collaboration is key. Our product development workshop collaborates daily with incredibly talented artisans who excel in their respective craft as one cannot CREATE ICONS alone …it is a true collaborative effort.
As a strong advocate of working to the specifics of human scale every piece is designed to be made and making each piece the best way is the only way. No matter how beautiful a design is, if it cant be made and enjoyed by someone it has no value. If one has an ability to create a beautiful piece that is equally beautifully made then there is a good chance it will make someone happy. Thats our design ethic.
Diversity within design styling is key to creating significant individual pieces that are stunningly detailed. This creative diversity also applies itself to making simply beautiful, beautifully simple pieces as well. The principles of exquisitely intricate and the less is more policy are equally observed at Glyn Peter Machin.

CREATING ICONS BY DESIGN ONLY
As well as the ability to produce and supply designs through our own and collaborative artisan workshops Glyn Peter Machin also provide clients with a design and development only service. This is aimed towards clients who may have their own network of suppliers as well as interior designers, architects, yacht studios and manufacturing companies.
Why CREATING ICONS by design only.
Whilst many clients aspire to have Glyn Peter Machin designs adorn their private homes or superyachts the expense of making bespoke pieces through our workshops can sometimes be an obstacle to realising these aspirations or some clients wish to have their own teams produce.
Therefore CREATING ICONS by design only was introduced.
This unique service provides all clients with the same level of design and development one would receive if designs were made by GPM workshops but with the unique opportunity for these designs to be made by your own preferred suppliers. This means one’s aspirations to enjoy a Glyn Peter Machin design can always be realised. We work closely with your own suppliers to ensure designs stay true to what we have developed but you control the supply costs.
For professionals the design and development only service provides studios, companies and manufacturers with a service that is centred around collaborative creative support. Aimed at easing the workload and allowing you to focus on other aspects of your projects.
Lack of time is one of the reasons many great designs never leave the sketchbook. Glyn Peter Machin can create and develop designs specifically for your projects or take your design ideas and develop them into sketches/renderings and to a point whereby one can put them into production. Additionally we can make 1.1 prototypes of designs or produce 3D printed models for you to present to respective clients, workshops or manufacturing facilities. We work together with your preferred supplier to ensure designs are produced to the standard and quality your project or customer requires.
